A blustery day

The weather wasn’t as bad as forecast - it was due to rain all day but it turned out dry, though windy and heavily cloudy. And I had a lovely long walk - it’s always good to escape from the working-at-home desk for a while. I set out not so long before sunset, thinking I was crazy but doing it anyway, and got home triumphant and not rained on with just enough daylight left to see my way. There are no street lights here - when it gets dark, it really gets dark, so you start to notice the phase of the moon and the cloud cover a lot more than in the city. The heavy rain has arrived now, but I’m long since safely home and dry.
