Dragonfly

I've only just seen these guys starting to get around as of yesterday. Very annoyed that when I looked at the images on my tablet the eyes were out of focus on every shot :-(. Oh well, it's the best I can do today. Feeling sad. Maybe seeing this dragonfly today is a good omen. In Asia, people see dragonflies as a positive influence as they are associated with the dragon, a revered image in the East. They are depicted in artworks, ceramics, wooden items and jewellery throughout Vietnam. But overall, the dragonfly is considered to be a symbol of change and symbolic of a sense of self realisation.

Waffling aside ... I should make an effort to try and look up this species ...
