Prepared for winter

This was the sight that greeted us as we entered the pub at lunch time. There seemed to be piles of logs all over the pub, but only one tiny fireplace!
We were there for our monthly lunch date with M and C. They took us to a pub we haven’t visited before. The meal was one of the best we have had for a long time. As always the exchange of views and the support for each other is a valuable part of our day.
