Leaf carpet begins to form

Very many thanks to those who posted kind birthday wishes, yesterday. They were much appreciated. Entertained friends for lunch today and a  homemade meal of fish pie followed by lemon float pudding with ice cream seemed to hit the mark. After they set off for home I needed a walk possibly for the purposes of exercise, but mainly to ward off the effects of too much pud.
