Lens Test Bee

There was a happy knock a the door, or perhaps a knock at the happy door... anyway, the post lady returned my SEL70200GM lens today. 

I've spent much of the day ripping out the dining room carpet and underlay, doing tip runs in Mollie Camper and preparing the skirting and door for the final coats. But I did want to at least try the lens out before it got too dark.

At half past five on an overcast day, there wasn't a lot to photograph in the garden, but this bright little fellow was still busily taking what he could find. And that's what I did too.

The lens seems entirely good (yay!). Now all I need to do is remember not to drop it again. Also, I have a new NHS dentist. :-)
