Verbena

A busy morning for our grandson as his Dad and I took him to the local barbers for a haircut.  He doesn't like having his hair cut but it was more successful this time as it was a quieter environment and the woman hairdresser was very good with him.  He was plied with food and his favourite cartoons on the phone and also given a fancy toy sports car which he clutched throughout.  He came out looking very smart.

We had a late morning stroll with him down to the beach and back on this blustery grey day and then it was lunchtime.  They all left to go back to London after this and we had some much needed quiet time.
