The knives are out

I had a really good meeting with my solicitor this morning after which I needed a good lunch.

At the top of Islington Green, Bellanger is one of Corbin and King's French brasseries, and very good it is too.

I ate the most beautifully trimmed and cooked rare rib-eye with a slightly caramelised bernaise sauce, crisp fries and a perfectly dressed green salad on the side. The service was, as always, impeccable.

What's not to like.
