Country mailboxes

I spotted these mail boxes on the way to the coast. They are at the end of a private road. There must be three properties on that road, and the postie doesn’t go any further than this.

This is a very tame collection compared with some you see further out in the country. There you can see clusters of a dozen or more mail boxes, some of them repurposed. Our friend Babb for instance had an old fridge as her mail box.
