Floaty Witches

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

Another picture from Hani, whose imagination seems to have taken the stories of Cutie the red panda and run with them.

This picture is of Dave the cat, Lemon the bear, Cutie the red panda and Ellie the Floaty Witch. 

Ellie floats because she is a sunbeam witch, who absorbs the rays of the sun. But she has to be constantly tethered to a tortoise* or she will float away to join with the sun and become a sunbeam.

She is quite happy to do this, but the animals want to keep her around. Hence the tortoise.

I told Fazzy to get her children to make a house for Dave. The idea is that once they have done it, then Fazzy will disappear it and it will reappear in the story. Dave won't know quite where it came from but will thank the little "kitten-people" who he believes made it for him.

As you can tell, I am thoroughly enjoying writing these stories. 

I had a pretty nice day today. I spent part of it reconnecting with Shenée who I haven't hung out with much for a couple of weeks. She is as funny and sparky and smart as ever and we each promised each other to spend more time together. 

Sometimes it feels like my life is full of sunbeam witches.
