Happy update

Remember the dead little snake I saw in the elevator last week? that I called and told the office manager about? Well, it turned out he wasn't dead! Today I had a follow-up appointment and commented on the snake. Apparently she (the manager) realized that he was only damaged, and called animal control. Now he's safe at a wildlife rehabilitation center. That made me very happy.

No such happy update for this skeletal guitarist...he really is dead, though looks like he's enjoying myself. Son D. and I saw him when we stopped by to buy guitar strings.

Extra of these colorful maples. I fear tonight's wind will take care of the leaves, but they've been pretty this week. Leaves all around us have been tumbling down furiously all day.
