Birthday Portrait

Looking down on our walk today yielded so many lovely leaf combinations…I was trying to decide which to blip.   But then we made a visit to son Eric on his 53rd birthday today so I had to combine his photo (taken with lots of kitchen distractions in the background) with this lovely palette of leaves.    It beats last years photo where we were outside with masks.  (see how the Bean has grown)  Maybe next year we can have a real birthday party.  :-)   Nice visit with Oskar and Anne who is doing well and was planning on driving downtown to pick up a special steak diner for his birthday.  (no one in this family likes to cook and no one else would eat a steak)..    Oskar in extra….he’s annoyed because some of his teachers call him Nik, (after his brother who they had in class 2 years ago) but he’s happy with this new haircut.
