Spring like!

A trip into town today for hair appointments and shopping at the wholesaler. We took my car and I drove as I wanted to fill up with petrol. I haven’t bought petrol for months and was horrified to pay £38 for half a tank!!! 

I remember the days when I had a Saturday job in the village garage and you could buy 4 gallons of petrol for a pound. I was paid less than two shillings an hour.
