Calmer

With A heading off early to Dundee for a conference, I walked Django on another dull autumn morning. However, as we came back into the Park, the area around the twinning mosaic was looking rather attractive. The Rotary has created a sensory garden, but it's also the area where teenagers hang out in the evening, so the prettiness of the garden is sometimes spoiled by rubbish.

Understandably, there was much less to-ing and fro-ing today, as the guys started more time-consuming "constructive" tasks on the kitchen.  There was a moment's entertainment when I was told that the floor had been screeded and mustn't be walked on for a few hours. But Kermit was out, the cat flap hadn't been locked, and it was inaccessible due to the screeding! The boss wasn't worried about a few cat paw-prints in his screeding, but I immediately had visions of him treading cement paw prints through the house! Right on cue, we heard a rattling at the cat flap, and my yelling deterred Kermit from coming in. I then ran around and put a board in place to block the cat flap, and Kermit came back into the house with me! Not so exciting, but easier to describe than the day's exciting coding and client interactions!

Meanwhile, Kermit is a little happier, and has now learned that his food is served upstairs.
