Refreshing

The beer I was drinking when my Blip moment came to me, not the Blip itself.

By then it was almost 6pm and I was still wandering the streets taking in how much I like this place.

The highlight was a tour of the Biblioteca Joanina at the university, guided by graduate Sara. No photography. An amazing place.

We were last in and out, and as we left the staff were covering the tables because they have a resident colony of bats. They eat the insects which might otherwise eat the books, but their droppings would damage the tables .
