same old

I must have walked to this spot hundreds of times during the past 23 years but there's always something new to see and Jess is always excited to go with me. I thought I'd better photograph the leaves before they start to turn brown and fall.

I had to get out on my walk as soon as I was back from work, while there was still some light. The hedges around the fields were being trimmed back, but otherwise the road was quiet and the rain held off.

It was good to be back at work at the cafe again and to see everyone - staff, volunteers, trainees and customers. Lots of chats :-)
