Bird for Becks
Sometimes you just fuss and fuss and then just stop fussing. We used to name all our home projects "The Less Than Perfect (fill in the blank: sink repair, window painting, tree-trimming) Company." I fussed with this bird for a long time, still finding acrylics to be so goopy, then just stopped fussing.
I fussed over my new printer a real long time today, on the phone with someone from Epson. No wonder they hide their phone numbers way deep in their support screens; the Epson woman and I took turns being irritated with each other. Not sure, yet, if it's gonna be the printer for me. You have to disassemble the back of it, remove part of that disassembled piece, and put that second part somewhere else nearby in the printer, in order to sheet feed heavy paper from the back - which is the main reason I chose this particular printer. Then you better not forget to select all the correct settings before you hit print. Plus it seems you must keep an eye on the printer's LCD screen as well the the one on your iPad. I suppose it will get easier, but jeez.
Meanwhile, my friend Rebecca's birthday is on Wednesday and I made a bird for her. We've known each other for a number of years, but really only became good friends about the time my sister Becky died. Isn't that strange. We would've been friends anyway, and Becky would've been, too.
