A surprise behind every plant!
We visited a friend in Wendover today, and as there are always a good number of Red Kites flying overhead when we go there I was determined to blip one. Saw quite a lot and flying very low and up close as we were driving , but when we got there they were all much higher and further away. Got several shots but none really good enough to publish.
Then while I was stood outside to try some more shots, I moved slightly and spotted the Tailor of Gloucester behind the greenery and just couldn't resist blipping him. So here he is.
I like surprises like that, good things that happen while you are doing something else. They just add touches of the divine to the ordinary bits of life.
