Crash landing

Ruby and I met T over Wimbledon common for a walk and a catch up. It’s been many, many months since we’ve seen each other. We always meet here by the pond and soon after T arriving we heard the swans coming from the other side of the pond. By the time I got my phone out they were half way across and really had to put on the brakes to make their landing… maybe they were hoping for food.

In the afternoon Mr C wanted to visit Oak furniture to look at dining tables and, as our local one has closed, our nearest one is in Croydon.  I also found out that Rebecca was picking up the keys to her little house today and as we were going to be next to IKEA I asked if there was anything she needed ~ a small dining table, chairs and couple of other bits. In the end it was Lucy and I that went because we needed the back seats down and don’t think Mr C fancied a trip to IKEA.  We also picked up kitchen bits, glasses etc for her. It’s like starting all over again, I think she’s taking very little with her.
