made a quick stop at the beach on my way home from work. it was breezy and cool, with beautiful blue sea and sky. there were more people than usual for a weekday at 5:30, due to local schools all on Easter week vacation, and lots of "Northerners" down here for Spring Break too. I hadn't thought of that this week, until I went to the wetlands boardwalk Tuesday, and saw the crowds. But it's hard to be upset about less parking, etc when one sees how much most visiters enjoy and appreciate what we take for granted, living here.
(seagulls, however, can be seen almost anywhere- including garbage dumps!)
