Seascape

On the left you see the lighthouse, with the flag at half-mast for Colin Powell;  the main view is It's Beach, sometimes called Doggie Beach because you are allowed to run your dogs there during certain hours. I would not have picked this particular hour myself, as the beach is almost completely under water, but there are a couple of dogs and their people, and some sort of furniture--a bookcase? a garden bed?--that arrived in the storm. The big show came from the waves breaking on the point, great smashing waves crashing in all directions. It was quite a morning, and then the sky changed to a brilliant blue and all sense of a storm was gone, except for debris, fallen leaves and branches, even entire trees surprised out of the ground.
