The end of the blooms

Last Saturday night I went out and cut a bunch of my last blooms. It was predicted to finally freeze. It did get down to 30 degrees so not a hard freeze but still things are really winding down. Except my pink chrysanthemums, of course, they are at their peak! This is one of the latest falls without a freeze we've ever had here. I looked back at my record book and early September is usually when things happen.
