Start of Half Term

Not the start I was expecting to my half term holiday received a phone call from H this morning saying she had been sent home from work with a migraine but she was also experiencing slight pain and numbness down her right side not quite as bad as in March when she was rushed into hospital with a suspected stroke so M took me down to her house she was using her arm but said how heavy it felt and when she walked she was slightly lopsided to the right. She hadn't improved by lunchtime so I telephoned NHS 111 who gave her an appointment at the urgent care in the hospital M came and dropped us off there I couldn't stay with her so I sat in the corridor while she saw the doctor they then sent her for tests so I came home the doctor wanted her to have an MMRI scan but asked for a second opinion and it was the doctor who saw her in March and he diagnosed another paraplegic migraine (this is what it was in March) she was sent home having been given some medication but if there is no improvement by tomorrow she has to go back for the scan. Fingers crossed the medication and a good night's sleep will do the trick.
