A Mixed Weather Day

It was sun, moon (near the top), clouds, blue sky and rainbow all at the same time this morning.

At lunchtime I got 2 hospital appointment letters - one for an ultra sound san and the other for an internal bladder examination (I really don't like the idea of that one). Both of them are at the Western General in Edinburgh (a nightmare to get to and to park). Both of them can be done at St John's in Livingston .... but of course the only available slots are in Edinburgh. My bet is there are people in Edinburgh having to travel out to Livingston - we have had this problem before .... the Consultants have clinics at both hospitals and their 2 offices (yes ... they have 2 of everything) do not talk to each other or synchronise diaries and addresses.

We were round at Bag's this afternoon - to 'babysit' The Cygnet while Squirrel and son-in-law went to their martial arts class. Before they headed off Squirrel insisted on showing us her mask she has made for Halloween.
The cat seems to have got over her infection - but still refuses to hang about to be brushed to get the knots out of her fur (I did try).

Before we left Bags' house I got a video call from NO1 and his girls. That was a nice surprise and all the grandkids were really happy to see each other.
