the revolving die - a modern twist

era:  circa 5000 BC
place of origin:  ancient Sumer, where knucklebones were thrown
inventor of the cubic die as we know it :- 
a) Palamedes - during the siege of Troy c.1260 - 1180 BC
b) the Lydians during the reign of King Atys sometime during the 2nd millennium c. 2000 - 1001 BC
c) the Chinese, c. 600 BC

though we have some ancient dice i chose this very modern pair for Mono Monday.
