Beaminster Down

I did a bit of painting this morning, finding it quite frustrating at how many coats of eggshell are needed on the stairs and at the difficulty of getting coverage on square section spindles.  But we'll get there.

This is Beaminster Down, looking westish in the low sun with shadows.  The avenue of trees from a couple of days ago is in the upper third on the right, leading away from the lane.
