Diary of an Edinburgher

Blue skies!

A lovely blue skied day lured us all out down town. Well, JR had ordered a new pair of boots online, but they were just too big, so she wanted to return them to the shop down in Stockbridge instead of having to post them back. Archie and I decided to come too.

The boots were returned to the (rather nice) shop, and a coffee and cinnamon bun were enjoyed before Archie and I had had enough and jumped on the bus home again. JR, however, was keen to peruse further, unencumbered by her hangers-on. Actually, she wasn’t home for hours, but had a very successful time.

Archie and I, on the spur of the moment, not wanting to waste such glorious blue skies by being on a bus for too long, jumped off in town and walked through the Gardens. But the enthusiasm for walking all the way home soon waned.

While in town a got a phone call from the surgery, requesting my presence tomorrow. With a doctor! I think she wants to find out how my ‘physiohterapy’ sessions went.

Also, I’ve arranged for us both to get a flu jab this week. Still waiting for those booster jab blue envelopes!

And we won’t mention the cricket…
