cutting out the dead wood

Went to Wisley this morning. we didnt realise they had reverted to to a 10am opening and got there just before they opened. The queue snaked round the car park so we had a coffee and waited for it to clear a bit. we entered the garden finally at 10:45
we spotted the tree surgeon in the cherry picker cutting out the dead wood from the tree bind the pond. Then just a lovely slow amble round the garden.
