Best laid plans

Today we headed off to the Ridgeway again, planning to spend a day amongst the beech trees of the Chilterns.

After a few miles OH declared that he didn't feel well & a few miles later he couldn't walk any further.

I left him at a roadside with one of the dogs & retraced our steps with the other dog. She was not happy to leave an obviously sick master behind. She kept looking behind her all the way back to the car!

We're now spending a quiet afternoon in front of a roaring fire. Oh well, the Ridgeway will still be there when he feels better.
