This will be my view for the next 18 hours or so as I travel by coach to Dover and then onwards from Calais to the French Alps for a 5 day skiing break.

I am not feeling well, still sneezing and coughing - I hope for the sake of my fellow travelers on the coach that I am past the infectious stage!!

As previously, when traveling alone, I worry about meeting up with suitable ski buddies, because for me one of the main ingredients on a skiing holiday is banter and companionship. Skiing alone is not only a lonely experience, but can also be dangerous.
