Its just black and white.

The work to draw up the first laws of Rugby football started on 25 August 1845 and ended on 28th August. The work was done by three senior pupils at Rugby School after they received instructions to codify the game of Football. 

Mono Monday, mono is black and white, All Blacks and England are black and white. ;-)
