Saturday

The day started well with a walk in the sunshine. OH had to pop and see his Mum to get her a few groceries. I did some paperwork while he was out.

We had lunch planned with old friends. S&R who moved to the US over 20 years ago and D&R who we have known for years and was OH best man. Lovely lunch and lots of chat and laughs. Due to Covid haven’t caught up for over two years so plenty to talk about. Including R’s impending retirement - he was CEO for big company and was nonchalant in telling us he stays on the payroll on full pay and bonus for the next two years!!
Nice people though and there is always an open invitation to Florida ….. maybe? It would be nice to experience their world?
