Junior Parkrun

We took the kids to their first ever Junior Parkrun this morning - a 2km loop around the Meadows.

I ran with the wee man, while Nikki ran with the little lady. This being the lad's first ever run, we started off quick. Much too quick. By the end of the first lap, we were walking, and the girls gently jogged past. This didn't go down well. The wee man was crestfallen. Tears welled up but he wouldn't let them out. We're working things out ❤️
