Common Tern

This young tern shouldn't be here at this time of year and with the wind and rain of today, it will be regretting not moving south wit hthe rest of the clan.
There was a report of a dolphin stranding at the headland here and with no-one else available I went up to investigate. No sign of a dolphin alive or dead in some pretty foul conditions. The tern at least made the trip worthwhile.
Dinner at neighbours A&S this evening and far too much very decent red wine was drunk.
