Dalswinton

Sarah went running up the hills and I took a walk around Dalswinton. It rained quite a bit but here's a photo I took when the sun came out towards the end of my walk, when I was at the loch.

It was here that Robert Burns was a passenger on the world's first paddle-propelled steamboat. Today there were only a few ducks on the water and no other walkers to be seen.
