Magic day

Today I went to a conference at the headquarters of the Magic Circle. It's tucked away in a little street near Euston and is full of memorabilia from famous magicians. This rather poor image is of their logo which was projected on the wall next to the stage in the auditorium.

The event was about the Prison Radio Association and was jam packed full of entertaining people and radio clips. It was co-hosted by Paddy O'Connell from BBC radio 4 and an ex-presenter from National Prison Radio - he can't be a presenter now because he's on the out. Jonathan Aitken was there and he was on stage with the prisoner who interviewed him in 2009 - an interview which won a Sony award.

Afterwards there was a drinks reception with canapés so all up not the worst way to spend a day.

The weekend is upon us and it's a long one so pace yourself mes amigos!
