Pictures of Matchstick Men
My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,
Day three of the four day weekend saw me working. I know, I know. But when I get the bit between the teeth I can be a bit Yorkshire Terrier like.
Don't worry though. I quit by lunchtime. Had a nap. Drew some pictures for Hani and Zay and basically pleased myself.
In the evening Tiger came over to watch a Jean-Claude Van Damme film with beers, hot dogs and sliders. It made us feel good to have him over. He's had a hard few days, looking after Loulou and although we discussed her recovery, we mainly just let him be and allowed him to step away from things for a while.
The past few days have been tough on him. What was supposed to be 5 hour surgery, turned into 10 hour surgery, due to complications. All the same, Loulou sounds like she is doing much better now. "Am I allowed to say that every day there's an improvement?" he asked her.
She said yes. And that she was loving the private room and the peace it brought.
So it was to her extreme disgust that - while Tiger was with us - she was moved into a ward that, "smells of poo" according to Loulou. The poor woman. "BREAK ME OUT. I DON'T CARE THAT YOU DON'T DRIVE," she texted Caro.
You will be glad to hear that she is due to be discharged tomorrow.
Caro recalled her days of being high on drugs after her cyst removal last year. She says she "floated" around the hospital, bringing her drip on a stand with her, saying "hiiiiiiiiii" to all the nurses and telling them how great she felt. "I've got my bum out and I don't even care!!!!!!" she told them.
It sounds like Loulou is a bit like that too. Or at least until she was moved out of her room. I really hope she is discharged tomorrow. I can't wait to have her over for a Dolph Lungren film.
