I watched the Cardiff City FC v Middlesborough match on tv where we were going for a record eight loss in succession, this time against former manager Neil Warnock and player Sol Bamba, (former Cardiff favourites for what they did for the club). We lost 0-2 and our manager Mick McCarthy was instanty sacked.

We collected our friends late afternoon to go to the Paul Heaton concert at Cardiff Motorpoint Arena, a singer I've liked since he was with The Housemartins and then The Beautiful South. We had a meal and a drink at nearby Wetherspoons (no masks required) and then attended the concert (virtually no one wearing masks). Just strange you're required to wear them in shops in Wales!

He was absolutely superb without his co-singer Jacqui Abbot who was ill. We booked two years ago so good to eventually get to see him! The blip photo' shows Paul Heaton and some of the crowd.
