Did a bit of sorting out this morning- trying to create some space in my temporary kitchen/living room. Popped up to the farmers market for some veg for tomorrow and then drove to Su’s and we headed out to Derby to the Museum of Making in an old silk mill which is apparently the oldest factory in England (blipped) . They had a makers market in. We weren’t tempted by anything but there was a nice buzz with lots of activities for children. Went to an old haunt ( Bottle Kiln ) on the way back for tea and cake and some browsing. Su bought twigs etc to display her jewellery and a couple of presents and we reminisced. Back to hers and we had ago at designing some Christmas jewellery . She cooked a delicious mushroom risotto-I love risotto. Not much interest in her house which is a shame as she has decided she definitely wants the house we saw on Monday. Still it only needs one person/couple to fall in love with it!
