The Grounds Keepers

A lovely drive to Tighnabruaich through some sunny and some snowy spells on quadruple- and single-track roads.

Got to our beautiful hotel a minute after check-in time and went for a wee wander along the beach, past this shinty ground where the grass was being cut by the local groundsmen pictured here.

We had dinner in the Shinty Bar of the hotel, chatted to some locals and some not-so-locals and played some scrabble (which the boyfriend won, for the first time ever!) and some Trivial Pursuit (which I won).
