Which way up was that plan?

It was only when the house was nearly finished that the builders realised the blueprints had been upside down.

We had an enjoyable evening yesterday.  Good to see lots of people out enjoying themselves; a lively atmosphere around the bars and restaurants.  This morning we had a look around the shopping centre before we headed for home and it couldn’t have felt more different.  It’s a year since we shopped here and compared to before the pandemic, it felt really quiet.  By mid to late Saturday morning it would have been difficult to find a parking space and the shopping centre would have been really busy.  Today it felt more like first thing on a Tuesday; not many people around and lots of space to park.

We’ve enjoyed having a couple of days back where we used to live but it really highlighted how much more we enjoy where we’ve moved to.  It’s good to be back home again.
