Resisting

This old fashioned lingerie and bed-wear shop is resisting the encroachment of eating places in this very gentrified street of Enrique Granados in Barcelona.  I'm sure the tenant has one of the old rental agreements that maintain a low rent until the current occupant passes away or gives up.   Some landlord somewhere will be hoping for that while many citizens want to preserve these old, distinctive shops.
