North Queensferry Sunset

I was driving home from work today, through Inverkeithing, when I realised how lovely the warm light of the setting sun looked. So I swung into the car Park of the Brooks Queensferry Hotel, and made a mad dash to the east side of the Forth Road Bridge to take this picture. Sadly, I only had my Sony point-and-shoot with me, but it worked out okay...

This one was taken looking mostly south... the warm sunset is turning the distant Pentlands a delicate pink, which in turn compliments the richer, darker brown hue of the Railway bridge. The houses in the foreground are also bathed in the light from the setting sun...

Maybe the picture is a little dark, but I was quite conservative in shooting it, and a JPG from the point and shoot doesn't have a lot of ability to be pushed...
