These are some pumpkins for sale at one of the greengrocers in town. A quiet day today, just a few small jobs done. Looking forward to Strictly tonight and the start of a new series on BBC2 afterwards - The 80s - Music’s Greatest Decade?

Russia is to implement a national workplace shutdown from the beginning of Nov in an attempt to reduce cases and deaths.    The US FDA says that giving the Pfizer jab to 5-11 year olds outweighs the risks. Melbourne is in its first day out of lockdown for 262 days. A Govt advisor has warned that the UK is ‘dilly-dallying into lockdown’ and should take Plan B action now. 3.2m pets were adopted during the pandemic, but one charity is now reporting their highest no. of pets being dropped off in 15 years.
