Common Puffball

This morning I went to look for fly agaric fungi at a spot where I know that they grow at this time of year. When I got there I was sorry to see that they'd all been kicked over - lovely fresh specimens that would have been perfect for blipping.  Fortunately there will be more growing so hopefully I'll blip one soon.  In the meantime I took a photo of this Common Puffball and there were various other species around too.

I forraged some sloe berries for either sloe gin or vodka so that's a job to make a start on soon. I need to purchase the alcohol now.
