Fungi

An exploratory walk this morning. I knew there was a new walking and cycling route from walkden station to the RHS Bridgewater garden. And that it was eventually going to link up to the canal towpath (but I wasn’t certain that connection was completed yet)

So as it was dry I went exploring, and made a good circuit to Worsley and back up through the woods. As well as discovering a new walking circuit from home, I also spotted a flock of parakeets and these little fungi conveniently growing at eye level on a fallen tree. Only had the phone with me, but it did make it straight forward to photograph.

Back home and lots of studying to do!
