Shaggy ink caps deliquescing

Everyone's blipping fungus just now (including me earlier in the week) but I couldn't resist these dissolving ink cap mushrooms. This close up they smelled overpoweringly mushroomy. There's plenty more fungus in the same spot so you never know there could be more inky blips.

A pleasant walk round the castle environs and Gowan Hill for the first time in ages. It's turned mild again and there's no wind so it was an enjoyable stroll. The main thing is that it is still dry so I'm going to spend this afternoon in the garden before curry night.
