It's Flower Friday!

This week's offering is some lisianthus, which I bought this afternoon, when I popped out for combined supermarket and pharmacy visit.  I now have my new stronger inhaler which hopefully will do the trick.
In other news: today my patio handrails were to be fitted and indeed two young men arrived just before 9am with every intention of doing so.  Sadly they were not fitted: to cut a long story short, the rails had been painted in a matte finish which we had been assured would have a silk appearance.  Unfortunately it didn't and even the young men said that they had questioned the choice of matte and demonstrated how easily they would be marked by even slight use.  After a call with the slightly tetchy company boss (who wanted to speak to 'the man', Mr MC, but couldn't as Mr MC was in Bury St Edmonds playing golf) it was agreed that the handrails would be repainted to a gloss finish.  Hopefully they can do this and then fit them reasonably quickly.
