do I see wild wraiths in that hallway
phantoms, specters, ghosts?
one cannot be sure
do they shift and do they shimmer
animal apparitions so spooky so sly?
I suspect they left these spectacles
one cannot be sure


Poor little Berry sees things we cannot, or can we? T thought she saw something chasing Max early this morning, and it was not Raspberry!

For the Record,
This day came in overcast with a brief glimmer of sun.

My mother died suddenly at 85, six years ago this evening. Hopefully a swift passing, she was still in her own home, driving and managing most of her affairs. She missed my father for 9 long years and I suspect she gave it quite easily to the sudden heart attack after dinner. For all of us it was quite a shock. She was a force to be reckoned with and shaped us all in ways we are still discovering.
