Birthday surprise!

Today our eldest grandchild, Fyfe, is 9 years old!

We, with his paternal grandparents, bought him this new bike. We have looked after it in our rental house for two weeks. Today we all met at Fyfe’s house to help him celebrate his special day.

It was a lovely occasion and a stunning rainbow added to the magic and two hedgehogs joined in for good measure!

Fyfe’s brother Torran enjoyed his big brother’s birthday. He quickly worked out that by rotating Fyfe’s birthday cards the 9 became 6!
He’s already counting down the days until his 7th birthday in January.

At our new house the carpets are all down and looking very smart with just over a week to go until our furniture is due to arrive from Edinburgh.
