One blink and then it was gone

Viewing the sunset from my front door lasts for a brief moment before it sinks behind the houses …. I have a very short time to spy the glow, grab my camera and get out to the front step.

If I want to gaze for longer I need to go down the hill to the cemetery where there are few obstructions to the view.
